Hawke's Bay. Ihe wimicr was Ylr T. Brophy, of 12 Chaucer road, Napier, who put in tlie correct score oi' 32 to 6 in favour of Auckland. A noticeahle f ea ture of the competition was that many-of Ihe competitors went very near the winniug score, and it w:ys geneyally accepted that Hawke's Bay woulcl be defeated. Another £5. 5s juclging competition is heing eonducted hy the Daily Telegraph, the details of which appeared in tlie Sports Edition 011 Saturday.
