BAINBRIDGE—STOWE.
A nuniber of friends gathered at the Piesbyterian Church, Hastings, for the marriage of Miss Freda Mildred Stowe, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Stowe, of Riverslea road, Hastings, and Mr Gordon Howard Bainbridge, youngest son of Mrs Bainbridge, of Hastings, and the late Mr Bainbridge. An impressive service was conducted by the Rev. D. Shaw, and Mr Lance Craig presided at the organ. The bride entered on the arai of her cousin, Mr G-. _ Collins, and was daintily frocked in pale pink georgette, with a tight-fitt.ing bodice and lace skirt, with overskirt of pointed georgette; silver shoes were worn. Tlie bridal veil was arranged on the head with a coronet of orange blossoms and pearls and a' lovely bouquet in pink tones was carried. Miss Evelvn Howard made a channing bridesmaid, frocked in pale blue georgette, the points at sides of skirt Iieing tiered with tiny frills and finished with flowers. Miss Aileen Stowe, niece of the bride, was a sweet flower girl in buttercup crepe de ehine, with puffed sleeves and petal skirt and she carried a gold basket of flowers. Mr Nornian Viles, cousin of the bridegroom, assisted as hest man. Subsequentlv a reception was held. The bride travelled in a smart saxe blue costume with hat and footwear to tone. Mrs Stowe, bride's mother, wore a model of black crepe de chine with oreum vest and black hat. ATrs Bainbridge, mother of the bridegroom wore a smart frock of black chenille embossed georgette, with oriental trinimings and a black hat.
