HOWELL—CLARKE.
The niarriage was celehrated at Puketapu Churcli 011 Wednesday of Miss Beryl Howell, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs S. Howell, of Rissington, to Mr Peroy Clarke, son of A1 r Clarke, of-Te Poliue. Tlie Rev. Gedclis officiated. The bride, who was given away by her fatlier, wore a pretty frock of pink crepe de cliine, the skirt falling in liandkerchief points. The veil of pink tulle was lield in jilace with orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of wliite fiowers with touches of pink. jMiss Marjorie Simpson, as bridesmaid, wore a frock of primrose crepe de chine, with hat to match. A11 Early Yictorian iiosy of yellow fiowers was carried. Miss Betty Howell and Master Fred Welch were also in attendance. The former, as flower girl, n;ore a cream crepe de chine frock with pink hat, carrying a posy to match. Mr Fred Howell, of Rissington, was best man. The bride and bridegroom will spend their honeymoon in Taupo and Auckland.
