ST. PAUL'S TENNIS PLAYERS DISAPPOLNTED. , POOLS OF WATER ON COURTS. Members of St. Paul's Tennis Club were aniongst those who were grieviously disappointed by tlie rain that fell on Saturday. The club had planned to get off the mark early this season and had arrauged that its official ope^iing ceremony sliould take place 011 Saturday. The occasion was to havg been made a gala one and all members and intending members had been invited to assemhle at tlie courts 011 Saturday and assist in setting the ball rolling for the season. Tlie morning's showers, however, put a damper on tlie hcypes of the enthusiasts and at the time appointed for tlie opening ceremony in the afternoon pools of water were lying over the courts and tennis plavers were conspicuous hy their absence.
