BANK RATE ADVANCE
CONSERVING BRITISH CAPL TAL. Danger Of Foreigners Following Snit (Eeceived This Day. Noon). LONDON, Sept. 29. One explanation of the mcrease in the bank rate is that the Bank of England is attempting to force the foreign horrower to seek accommodation elsewhere, thereby preserving British capital for British industrv. The only real danger appears in the possibility ot the Federal Reserve and other foreign bank s acting likewise^ resulting in money becoming xiearer throughout the world while still leaving London favourahle as a borrowing market for foreigners.
