AUCKLAND, This day. .the annual dinner of the Auckland Typographical Union, Mr C. H. C'hapman * M.P., said that tlie time was ripe for the formation of a joint council of cniployer.s and employees in the printing industry. The watchword of sucb a "council should he "efficiency," and it could be expected to consider. a scheme of superannuation, provision for those ii\ tlie industry unemployed, and many other matters of interest to those engaged in the vari- -■ branclies of printing.
