yOGTHERR— WILTON. Many Iriends gatbered at St. Matthew's Church, Hastings, l&st night, for the marriage of Miss Florence ltose Wilton, daugliter of Mr and Mrs E. ,L. Wilton, of Longlands. Hastings, and Mr Leonard Yogtherr, son of Mr and Mrs C. Yogtherr, of Heretaunga street, Hastings. The church was prettily decorated with Spring flowers in primrose and white colours and made a picturesque setting for the bridal party. The ceremony was perl'ormed by the Rev. S. B. R. Carbin. Mr C. Spinney presided at tlie organ and played appropriate music, while the guests took their seats and at the conclusion of the service played Mendelssohn's "Wedding March." The bride, in her exquisite frock ot ivory Celanese silk, looked _ very pretty. The skirt was cut with a double flare, and a beautiful lace berthe trimmed the bodice. Handmade flowers effectively adorned the frock. • The beautiful tulle veil, embroidered with true lover's knots, was arranged on the liead, with narrow silver bands and arrangecl with a frill at the with. posies of orange blossom, and fell over the skirt in graceful lines. Silver shoes were worn, and a shower bouquet of white roses, cyclamen, and maidenhaia* ferns completed the charming effect. . . Miss Dora Wilton, sister of the bride, was in attendance and looked very dainty in primrose georgette, with frilis ta-im'ming the skirt and bodice. Following the ceremony a reception was held at Tlie Ritz, where the guests were most liospitably received by Mr and Mrs Wilton, the latter wearing a smart model frock of cocoa sil U , trimmed with fawn. A navy blue coat and navy hat with osprey completed her toilette. The Ritz was charmingly adorned with Spring flowers and pot 1 plants, and over the bridal table was suspended a huge white wedding bell. Flowers in pale primrose and white adorned the tables and the. handsome wedding cake was topped with a vase of whivO flowers. , . . ' • Later the hride and bridegroom left for their honeymoon, which will be spent at Taupo and Rotorua, the bride looking charming in a frock of Princess Marv blue crepe de chine, with a coat of dark. brown faced cloth, fawn Summer hat, and fox fur necklet. Mrs Yogtherr, mother of the bridegroom, wore a floral georgette frock, with navy blue Celanese silk coat, and naw blue hat. Miss Vogtherr, sister. of the bridegroom, looked very cliarming in a smart .model frock of mushroom georgette. trimmed with lace and a burnt straw hat. Many other relatives of botli bride and bridegroom were present. In future Mr .and Mrs Leonard Vogtherr will reside hi Hastings.
