COOMBE— REYNOLDS. A pretty wedding took place at tbe Saered Heart Churcli, Hastings, on Wednesday, wlien tlie Rev. Fatlier Fralier united in tlie holy bonds of matrimoiiv Miss Irene Reynokls, of Norsewood, and Mr Fredeiick J. Cooinbe, son of Mr and Mrs F. JCoombe, of Havelock North. The hrido was given away by her uncie, Mi' P. Cuniuiighani. and iooked very picturesque in a bridal frock of palest pink crepe de cliine, with a tuile veil and carried a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Her sister. Miss D. Reynolds, ' abtended as bridesmaid, and was daintly froeked in blue crepe de chine with liat to tone. Mr Ernest Cooinbe ably assisted as best man. After the marriago ceremoiiy the guests motorcd to tlie lionie of Mr and Ylrs E. Farmery, Thompson road, Mangateretere, wliere tlie wedding brenkfast was held. Tlie home was prettilv decorated with flowers and a choice wedding breakfast was served. The usual toasts were given, and the popular young couple received the lieartiest congratnlations. Alrs Coomhe, mother of the bridegroom, received the guests in a smart inodel frock of sand grey crepe cfe cliine, trimmed with lace and a. grey hat to niatch. IMivs E. Farmery wore a pretty tulip green crepe de cliine' frock. Later Mr and Mrs F. Coombe left for Wellington, where the honeymoon will be spent, and after the honeymoon they will reside in Southern Hawke's Bay. Tlie young couple received many beautiful gifts, both from friends in Norsewood and Havelock North. Among tboso present were: — Mrs Graham and Miss M. Graham, Miss Coombe, tlie Misses Beynolds (2), Miss Durney, Miss G. Bntcher, Afrs Gallien, Alessrs Gallien, Ruddiek, Cooinbe (5), Farmery, Butcher, Graham and others.
