Yesterday all registrations which had heen standing a fortniglit or lonsrer were crossed off the Napier b'ooTcs, leaving a total of 270 for the Hawke's Bay distriet — 175 in Napier, 55 in Hastings, and the remainder heing from Dannevirke, AATairoa and such like places. On Tuesdav 28 men will he despatchecl to AYaikaremoana. which will complete the quota of 50 allowed this distriet on'that particular work.
