PLEASAXT BY DAY AND NIGHT. Passing down Havelock Sroad now the pear blossom in Mr Paynter's Orchard make a fair scene indeed, and is the snbject of general remark. Passing by on a cairn night or on one with a breeze coining over tlie ovchard one is greeted by a most pleasant perfurae, and the dense whiteness of tbe blossom is distinct in any light.
