MRS SARAH FEARN.
The funeral took place at Hastings to-day of Mrs Sarah Fearn, who died in Hastings on 3londay. The late 3Irs Fearn who was 90 years ot ago, was born in Derhyshire, England, and with her liusband, eame to New Zealand about 50 years ago. For some 20 years, they lived at Risrington and in 1S99 renioved to Hastings. 3'Ir Fearn died some years ago. Although of a retiring disposition, the late 31 rs Fearn was well known and liighlv esteemed hv a large oirele of friends and to mourn her death she leaves a family of three daughters and three sons. The daughters are 31esdames W. W. Adams, Hastings, E. W. Bousefiehl, Gisborne, J. E. King, Wellington, and the sons, ; 31essrs G. J. Fearn, Puketapu, W. J. j and 1). E. Fearn, Gisborne. In addij tion. she leaves 21 grandfhildren, and j a similar number of great grandchili dren.
