NEXT 3IONDAY'S HOLIDAY. HOCRS OF ATTENDANCE. At the Hastings post office, Monday next will be observed as a close holidav in the postal branch. The public counters will be closed. All mails for despatch will be closed at usual times up to 8 a.m. No other mails will he made up. Street pillar boxes will be c-leared at 5 a.m. ouiy. No postmen's delive/ies will be made. but on Saturday, October 26, a deliverv of letters (ineluding registered) usuallv delivered by the postmen, will be made over the public counter hetween 7 and 8 p.m. The telegraph ofiice will he open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and telegrams should he presented upstairs, via the entrance at the corner of Russell and Queen streets. The money order office will lie closed all day. hut attendance at the telephone exchange will be continuous.
