A HASTINGS BANKRUPTCY. MEETING LAPSES. A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of A. R. Grainger, orchard instructor, of Hastings, called yesterday, lapsed for want of a quorum, tliere heing only one proved creditor present Ime statement of accounts showed that debts owing to unsecured creditors at £1027 L3s and to secured creditors £60, there being no assets. In view of the position, the official nssignee, 3Mr G. G. Chisholm, will aliandon the properties to the mortgagees, as there is no chance of anv equity.
