GRAND GARDEN FETE

OUTING AT HAUMOANA, ON WEDNESDAY NEXT. There will be good fun, and plenty of it, at Haumoana on Wednesday when the Haumoana Tennis Club will hold a grand garden fete at "The Grange," the home of Mr and Mrs C Scott (by the famous big tree). There will be novel games and competitions of all kinds, boating, stalls, and a special attractiou in the person of Ali Ben Ali. At 7.30 o'clock there will be a Maori concert, including hakas and poi dances. given by a party of the most talented natives in this district. The fete begins at two o'clock, and it will cost only sixpence to go in. The price of admission to the concert will be one shilling.
