In "Fashions in Love," the latest Paramount all-talking picture, oue of the most popuiar and^well known figures of the English stage plays in support of Adolphe Menjou, the star. She is Fay Compton, wbose lyric soprano voice and fine talking are_ a distinct asset to this fine picture. Miss Compton was bronght specially from England under contract to Paramount, and in addition to her beauty, she plays an admirable part as the sympathetic wife of the tempernmental musician, played by Meniou. Menjou speaks with a French accent, in keeping with the role, and the two form an ideal combination. "Fashions in Love" will be the attraction at the Gaiety Theatre to-night for the last time. This first talking picture of Adolphe Menjou will make him more popuiar than ever. The light flirtatious farce, is admirahlv suited to Menjou and he carries off the acting honours with -the saine suave manner that-lias niade lum prime favourite. He sings, too, plays the piano. In addition thete is Fay Compton, one of England'-s most famous actresses, who sings and plays, also. The rest of the cast speak well, and thisNpicture will, as a talking picture, live up to all you can say of it. The production is beautifuly handlcd and the frocking is porticulnrlv modern. "Fashions In Love" has attracted good liouses during the season and finishes to-night. The ''fenturettes" include some heantiful topicals that are always full of interest, a smart comedy "Apartment Huntmg and another of those popuiar singing cartoons "Pony Bov."
