STATIONS OFF THE AIR The Pacific coast chain of radio stations owned by and affiliated with the American Broadcasting Company, - with headguarters at Seattle, Wasliington, ceased rece'ntly, after :six rweeks ' of . financial trquhle. Early in October of 1928 the American Broadcasting Company, , originated its first chain broadcasting programmes in the, Pacific North-west from its station in Seattle, Spokane and Portland. These stations were owned outright by the company. Tn December its facilities were extended to include two stations in Chlifornia, one in San Francisco ai\d oue in Los Angeles. Tliese were affiliated stations, not owned by the company.
