ANNUAL MEETING.
The aunual general meeting of the Napier Ladies' Basketball Association was held in the Athenaeum Buildings. Miss Gloyn presided in lieu of Mrs Fish, president. Memhers from most clubs were present. The balancesheet was submitted and adopted. Following are the officers elected for the ensuing year: — Patroness, Mrs Husheer; president (working), Mr Boyce ; vice-presidents, Mrs Barnard, Mrs Diriwiddie, Miss Arthur, Messrs" V/. E. Barnard, M.P., J. Vigor Brown, •_G Husheer, McLaren, P. • Hanlon, G. Graham; P. Oliver, T. Heath ; honorary auditor, Mr Callaghan (re-elected) ; hcnorary secretary and treasurer, Mrs E. L. Boyce; assistant honorary secretary and treasurer, Miss Gurr. In view of the fact that the New Zealand basketball tournament is to be held in Hastings during the second week in Augujst, all players are urged to- work assiduously in doing their share for the Hawke's Bay Basketball Association.
