Extra choice ox sold to £1 19s per 1001b, choice alid prime ox £1 16s to £1 18s, ol'dinary plain ox £1 12s to £1 15s, prime young cow and lieifer beef £1 14s to £1 17s, ordinary cow beef £1 10s to £1 13s, lieavy prime steers £14 to £15 7s 6d, lighter prime steers £12 15s to £13 17s 6d, liglit prime steers £10 10s to £12 10s, unfinislied and sinai 1 £8 10s to £10 7s 6d, heavy prime young cows and lieifers £10 to £11 15s, lighter £8 10s to £9 15s, light cows £6 10s to £8 os, other cows £4 to £6 5s. Sheep were yarded in large numbers, and although tliere was a steady deuiand values were easier. Heavy prime "Wethers in wool 15s 6d to £1 7s 6d, shorn £1 3s 6d to £1 5s 3d, medium prime wethers in wool £1 4s 3d to £1 5s 3d, shorn £1 2s to £1 3s 3d, liglit prime wethers in wool £l 3s to £1 4s, shom 19s to £1 Is Od, small aud uiifinished wethers in wool 18s upwards, shorn 15s to 18s 6d, prime ewes in wool 17s to £1 Is 6d, prime ewes shorn 13s to 17s Od, primd hoggets in wool 18s to £1 3s 6d, prime hoggets shorn 15s to 19s 6d, unfinished hoggets in wool 14s to 17s 6d. Spring latnbs were penned in average numbers and sold under steady competition at late rates, at from 13s to £1 5s. Pigs were penned in large numbers, values being 011 a par witli last week's quotations. Choppers sold from £2 to £3 14s, heavy and medium bacouers £l 16s to £3 5s, Jighb.haconers and lieavy porkers £2 8s to £2 14s, medium porkers and liglit porkers £2 to £1 6s, small aud unfinished porkers £1 10s to £1 18s. A11 average yarding of store pigs sold at late quotations. Large stores £1 l()s to £2, slips £1 to £1 8s, weaners 14s to £1 2s. Calves were penned in aierage numbers. Values rcmained firm on late quotations. Weaners £4 15s to £6 5s, heavy vealers £1- to £4 14s, medium £3 8s to £3 18s, light £2 16s to £3 6s. smaller £2 to £2 14s, small and fj'esh dropped 7s to £1 18s, rough calves 15s to £1 10s.
