MUSICAL EXAMINATIONS.
Professor H. Muller, who has recently been appointed official representative of the London College of Music in Wellington, was very successful with his pupils in the examinations in theory held in connection with that college in December, 1903. He prepared 23 candidates for the examination, and all passed, all but two gaining first-class certificates, two obtaining the full number of marks possible ; eighteen succeeded in gaining 90 and over of a possible 100. This result is highly satisfactory. The following are the results : — Miss Nellie Carter, 100; Miss Ethel Downes, 100; Miss Janet Miller, 99 ; Master Ralph Blenkinsop, 98 ; Master: William Gini, 98 ; Miss Daisy House, 98; Master Vincent Dentice, 97; Miss Jennie Francis, 97 ; Master George Guise, 97 ; Master Lancelot. L. Smith, 97 ; Miss Florence Downes, 96 ; Miss Anna Hills, 96 ; Miss Louie Perry, 96 ; Miss Constance Beale, 95 ; Miss Vera Cooper, 95 ; Misa Kathleen Marley, 93 ; Miss Mabel Williams, 93 ; Master Sydney Stanton, 90; Miss Bertha House, 88; Miss Ada Smith. 87; Miss Ethel Stanton, 85; Master Albert Dentice, 76 ; Miss Gertrude Smith, 73.
