PARIS, sth October. Official: Referring to the enemy carrying out his threat to devastate the. occupied territory if forced to leave it, the French Government solemnly warns the German Government that it will hold it responsible morally * judicially, and financially. The Government is now communicating with the Allies on the subject. The Government further warns Austria that if she carries out her threat to put to death airmen who drop leaflets, the same penalties will be applied to double the number of Austrian officers.
