DIDN'T LIKE OYSTERS
Australian Press Association. (Received 26th October, 3 p.m.) LONDON, 25th October. The famous Colchester Oyster Feast, in October, a feature in England for decades, and tho occasion for oratory of prominent people, included a strange guest to-day. He thrust his plato to his neighbour, whispering that ho did not like oysters. Tho offer was gratefully accepted. Nine thousand oysters were eaten, some guests disposing of as many as seven dozen. The chief speaker was Sir Oliver Lodge, whoso speech circumnavigated tho universe, but omitted a reference to ojrsters.
