A TREASURY FUNCTION
A very pleasant and successful fune. tion was held in the Adelphi Cabaret on Wednesday, when the fourth annual dance of the Treasury Department took place. The excellent music was much, appreciated and a delightful supper was provided. The success of the gather- ' ing -was largely duo to the arrangements made by the committee, composed of Misses Boswell, Hardy, Martin, Reid, and Kitto, and Messrs. Barker, Curran, M'Govran, Morriss, and Spiers. ■ Among those present were Mrs. Highet (black marietta), Mrs. Shepherd (black satin), Mrs. Merrington (eau-de-nil georgette), Mrs. Burch (white mariettc and diamante trimming), Mrs. Mouton (aprieofc georgette), Mrs. Feslier (apple - green satin and raariotte), Mrs. Howell (apricot embossed georgette), Misses Boswell (sea green georgette), Hardy (whitemanette and silver lace), Martin (cerise georgette and diamante trimming), Eeid (black chiffon velvet and georgette), Kitto (apple green mariette), Andrew (turquoise blue mariette and silver lace), Tucker (lemon mariette with! lavender applique), Murtagh (orange chenille georgette), Jordan (lemon mariette and diamante trimming), B. Johnston (blue satin), Gorman ("rose chenille and mariette), Highet (pale blue georgette), Lowry (flame mariette), Dunne (scarlet ring velvet and diamante trimming), Stone (pink mariette ana diamante trimming), Welsh (black taffetas and lace), Claridgc (shell pink georgette and silver lace), Halford (green beaded georgette), E.
