United Press Association—By Electric Tele- I Rraph—Copyright Australian Press Association. I (Received 6th Jttly, noon.) | NEW YOEK, sth July. • A nation-wide survey at present shows that approximately 150 people lost their lives celebrating the Fourth of July, but contrary to other years, fireworks were responsible for almost a negligible number'of deaths, the majority being due to motoring and bathing. It is estimated that at least 400 people were injured. The death toll, however, represents a substantial decrease over 1928, when nearly 200 lives were lost.
