WORSER BAY
A number of parents and friends attended the. Christmas-tree and "breaMng-up" functions at Worser Bay School, a special feature being tha attendance of a large number of pupils of days gone by. One of these (Master Gerald corncK) presented the headmaster with a model of an aeroplane which showed remarkable Ingenuity on the part of this particular old boy," being a faithful copy of the 'plane so often seen at Lyall Bay. Presentations to the teachers seemed to be the order of tha day, and all expressed themselves as beta" Pleased with the spirit that prompted them as well as with the gifts themselves. Several ladles assisted with the function, Mrs. Taylor congratulating the pupils and the school upoa 8 ,securet 10° P« cent, of proficiency certificates.
