. Fifty thousand pieces of birthday cake were sent to their customers by Messrs. Drage, the well-known English furnishing company, to celebrate their recent 21st birthday. In the making of the cake Lyons used among otn r ingredients:—Half a ton of flour, 8001b butter, 90001b sugar, 6500 egg'o, oneton of sultanas, and 9001b of lemon and orange peel.
