NEW YOEK, 21st December. The International Paper Company has announced through the American Newspaper Publishers' Association that the present price of 55 dollars 20 cents for newsprint remains unchanged for the first half of 1930. The 'announcement said there would be no increase after that date •without thirty days' notice to newspaper publishers. • The Publishers' Association has received word from the Newsprint Institute of ■ Canada, that the price of 60 dollars per ton recently decided on by some of the larger Canadian newsprint manufacturers -.could remain unless market conditions changed in the near future.
