The Bank of New Zealand Produce Department has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business last week:—Frozen meat: Lightweight weathers are in better demand. The market for ewes is firm with an upward tendency. The present demand for lambs is good and likely to continue. There is a good demand for beef and prices are advancing. Wethers, light, 6 J/id to 6%d per lb; wethers, heavy, 5^ to 6d. Ewes 4d to sd. Lambs twos B%d to 9d; lambs eights 8d to B%d; lambs fours 7%d to 7%d; lambs seconds 7%d to 7%d. Ox hinds 6%d to 6%d. Ox fores 4%d to sd. Cow hinds s]/jds]/jd to 5%d. Cow i fores 4%d to 4%d.
