OHIRO HOME

The Ohiro Home has been favoured with some excellent concerts and parties recently. Miss' Kennedy, with a party consisting mainly of her pupils, gave the old people a musical treat, every item being thoroughly enjoyed. Then followed the entertainment given by members of the united Sunday schools of Hutt, Brooklyn, Kilbirnie, and other districts; they provided a delightful programme, which concluded with a supper. The members of St John's Church choir and Sunday School followed, and gave their usual happy Christmas entertainment, the programme being a particularly fine one, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Special thanks are expressed by the staff and inmates of the home for all that has been done in the way of entertainment this year; all the kindness is highly appreciated, and sincere good wishes are given for the happiness and health of their kind friends throughout the coming year.
