QUEEN'S THEATRE.

"The Four Feathers," which was shown at the head of the new programme at the Queen's Theatre last night. Is notable for many big scenes taken In the Sudan and In Portuguese East Africa. The story centres round a young British lieutenant who goes Into the wilds of Africa in an effort to retrieve his lost honour Richard Arlen appears in the principal role, and he has the support of a strong cast, including William Powell, Fay Wray, Clivo Brook, and Noah Beery. One of the most impressive scenes in tho picture shows a stampede of hundreds of hippopotami fleeing before the advancing flames of a bush fire. Another notable scene Is that showing thousands of warriors streaming across the desert to attack the British forces. The supporting programme Is a strong one. There will be two presentations of "The Four Feathers" on Christmas Day.
