"SWORD OF HONOUR"

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

AUCKLAND, This Day

A presentation, believed to be unique in the history of the New Zealand Territorial Force, namely, a sword of honour, was made on Friday evening to Major W. E. Stillwell, M.C., who has relinquished command of the Fourth Battery of the New Zealand Artillery (Howitzer), on his appointment to the command of the First Field Brigade, N.Z.A. The sword was purchased by the battery from the Defence Department, and was presented at a parade of all ranks.
