EVIDENCE CONCLUDED
FRAMING- /OP REPORT
The Education Committee of the House of Representatives has now concluded the hearing of evidence in the chief centres of the Dominion, with a view to improvements being made in the education, system generally.
The final meeting of the Committee for the purpose, of taking evidence was held last week, and an adjournment has been taken until Monday, 20th January, when the members will reassemble in Wellington to consider the framing of their report.
The Minister of Education (the Hon. H. Atmore) will be largely influenced by the Committee's report in the detailed announcement of his education policy, in which ho proposes to provide much greater facilities than exist in the primary schools at present for preparation for the • agricultural industry.
