C.T.'S DONATIONS
GRATITUDE EXPRESSED
The Wellington Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association has received' many acknowledgments of donations to provide Christmas cheer for children in public institutions. Among those from whom replies have been received are St. Mary's Home (Karori), Women's National Reserve (Residential Nursery, Owen street), superintendent, Porixua Mental Hospital; Macartliy Home, Belmont; Anglican Boys' Home; Presbyterian Orphanage;, St. Peter's Mission (Taranaki street); Wellington Hospital; Salvation Army Boys' Homo; and the District Nursing Guild of St. John.
In connection with the association's Blind Soldiers' and Sailors' Fund, many acknowledgments of donations have been received. A typical one reads: "I take pleasure in writing you, thanking you very much indeed for your Xmas present. I am sure that I will think every time I am dressing myself of the good old commercial travellers."
