MUSIC TEACHEKS

ISSUE OP REGISTER

The board constituted under the Musicteachers' Registration Act, 1928, will hold its second meeting at Palmerston North on 22nd and 23rd January. At this meeting applications for registration, of which a great number have been sent in, will be dealt with, and as soon as possible thereafter the first register will be issued. The first meeting of the board held in Wellington last May was occupied with the necessary legal preliminaries, and there is still a good deal o£ this business to be dealt with at the coming meeting, in addition to the applications for registration. It is probable that the board will not meet again after January for six months or more.
