The semi-finals of the Canterbury cricket championship concluded yesterday, and as a result Eiccarton and Old Boys will play, off for the championship. Against Old Boys' total of 395, West Christchurch scored 217 (Kerr 116). Bowling for Old Boys, Burrows took three wickets for 60 runs and Merritt five for 84. . Lancaster Park failed to get near Riccarton's total of 374, and were, all out for 243 (Yates 63, Read 53). Bowling for Ricearton, Roberts took five wickets for 35 and Rix four for 42. AUCKLAND, Ist March. Cricket was played in fine weather. I Ponsonby made 124 (Smith 48), G. L. Weir, took four wickets for 36 and Newdick four for 35, Eden made 55 for throe wickets. Grafton, against University, made 205 (Cowie 61). Butler took five wickets for 60. .'.■•• . • ■ North Shore made 140 (Bush 54), Aitken taking four wickets for 22 runs. Parnell scored CO for two wickets. V.M.C.A., against United Suburbs, made 23S (Frater 51, R. Riddolls 71).
