MEAT PRODUCERS’ BOARD.
ELECTION OF 1 PRODUCERS* representatives. An, advcrtisinent appears in our advertising columns uealnig with Lhe election ol three producers ’ repie-sen-atires on the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Hoard. The regulations under which the election is conducted proivde that the various districts shall elect twenty-live delegates who will constitute an electoral committee which wiTf assemble in August and elect the producers’ representatives. The number ol delegates and the boundaries ol the various districts are set out in the advertisment. The latest official sheep returns (which at present are those at 30th April, 1926) shall be the electoral roll. I'lvory sheep owner on this list having one hundred sheep or over shall he entitled to vote for delegates to the electoral committee. Nonumuons lor delegates on the electoral committee or for producers’ representatives may be made by any two sheep farmers appearing on the official sheep returns as owning not less than one hundred sheep. Forms of nominal ions are obtainable at tile ( Board’s office-, \\ cllinglon. Nominations for producers’ representative on the Board will he received at the Board’s oil ice, Wellington, up to noon on the Ist July, 1027, whilst nominations for delegates to the electoral committee will he received up to noon on (he 13th TTuy, 1027. ' In accordance - with I lie provisions of the Meat Export Control Act, tlie members ol the Board who are to retire m August, are Messrs H. I). Aclaiul, Christchurch; ,1. S. Jessup. W’airoa ; and Win. Perry, Mastertmi. These gentlemen oiler themselves lor re-election as producers’ representatives on the Board.
