Mysterious Disappearance.
NO TRACE YET FOUND. By Tolegrapb.—Press Association. Christchurch, last night. A man named Chas. Parkinson, coachman to Mr It. 11. Rhodes, M.11.R. for Ellesmere, disappeared mysteriously on Thursday, and has not been heard of since one that morning. 110 left Taitapu with Mr Rhodes’ carriage horses to proceed to Wellington by the Tarawera. He came into town and put his horses in a stable. He booked self and horses by train and steamer, and afterwards went to Mr Rhodes’ town residence. It is said that he left there to take the horses to Lyttelton, and was never seen afterwards.
