MASTER PLUMBERS.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Dunedin, last night. At the Master Plumbers’ Convention a resolution was carried to strongly urge the Government to take the necessary step 3 to secure prompt legislation establishing registration of plumbers on a statutory basis, insuring the qualifications and responsibility of each person registered. It was also resolved that all members of Associations affiliated to the National Association of Master Plumbers make it compulsory that all apprentices in their employ shall attend technical-classes of plumbing, or shall have passed the City and guilds of London Institute or local plumbing examinations.
