Mr Cameron, Inspector of New Zealand Produce at Home, reports that prices for Now Zealand butter, although not so high as they were last year, are good, and very steady. The demand throughout tho country is keen and growing, while satisfaction with the article is universal. Prices for Danish and New Zealand butter are now about equal, and a large butterdealer at Home predicts that the New Zealand article will take first place ere long. The demand for New Zealand cheese continues good, and prices are very firm. There have been no serious complaints of late about tbe quality of either our butter or our cheese.
