By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, last night. The police to day arrested a youth charged with having stolon £ll worth of jewellery from a Timaru resident nine months ago. At a meeting of the Levels County Council to day the loss to the country by the late floods was estimated at from £BOO to £IOOO.
