MILITARY APPOINTMENT. By Tolegraph—Press Association Auckland, last night. Lieut. A. J. Glasson, of the Pukekohe Mounted Rifles, has received a telegram stating that he has been appointed lieutenant in the Southern Battalion of the Tenth Contingent. THE PREMIER. The total Auckland subscriptions to the Premier’s testimonial is .£646.
