REMARKABLE CHARGE AGAINST

A WOMAN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, last night.

At the Police Court, Mary Vial and Roger Meldum were charged with setting fire to a dwelling house. It is alleged that the female accused borrowed furniture from a neighbor on the representation that some visitors were coming. She insured the furniture, and then returned it. In the following month the house was burned. The case is proceeding.
