An Australian wheat cargo sold at 30s 9d. Wool: Brisk competition; all sorts firm.
Dalgety and Co. report that the wool sales opened with a fair selection. There was a large attendance of buyers, and competition was very animated, but prices were somewhat irregular! The prices ftp the bulk of the wools are 71 to 10 per cent, higher, and there is a general disposition to buy.
