BARQUE WRECKED.
By Telegraph —Press Association. Auckland last night. The Danish barque Yerdaue, eoal Jaden from Westport, was wrecked at Papeete on June 12th. The vessel was ill charge of tho pilot, when she ran on a reef in the harbor, She was got off and moored alongside tho reef and shore, but capsized during tho night. Two of the crew narrowly escaped being drowned owing to the suddenness of the casualty. The captain and crew, who lost everything, arrived from Papeete to-day by the Taviuni.
