OBITUARY.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. Sir Frederick Sargood, who has been touring NbW Zealand, died suddenly today at Taihape. The causo of death is understood to be apoplexy. Word was received to day from Karamea of the death of Robert Packer, engineer of the To Kapu. Deceased was well known on the New Zealand seaboard, having served in a number of the Union Co.’s boats.
