(Per Press Association,')' Dunedin, last night. A four-roomed house in liaikorai, owned and occupied by John Trenwith, was destroyed by fire this morning. The house was insured for .£2OO and the furniture for £l6l, both in the Sun Office. A store at Kaitangato, occupied by H. Hitchon, was broken into and the safe removed to a stable, where it was blown open, and £SO in cash and cheques taken. , _ „ ~ Jas. Mcßride, an old man, fell on some stones in Caversham, and hurt himself internally. He waß taken to the hospital, whesa he died.
