By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, last night. An exhibition cricket match was played to-day between a local thirteen and the English Eleven. The match was chiefly remarkable for the scoring. Both aides allowed their bowlers to have a try, and 500 runs were scored in three and a half hours. In the morning Lord Hawke s team made 209 in two hours. In tbe afternoon tho looal team made two hundred and nine in an hour and a half for only two wickets. J. Marshall, not out, made 109, and G. Marshall, not out, 84.
