Late:.—Further particulars as to the abandonment of the barque Malmen siiow that on December Id there was ten feet of water in the ship’s holds. On that day it was also discovered that a portion of the cargo had caught fire. The flames rapidly .spread, and soon enveloped the whole siiip. It was decided to abandon tiie vessel, and the captain and crew accordingly put off in the ship’s boats.
