Tho local men batted first, tho innings closing for 106, Lusk compiling 57 in good style. Tho Englishmen bad scored 228 for five wickets when the stumps were drawn. Burnup’s 82 was got by pretty cricket, playing woll all rouud tho wicket. Warner hit freely for 40, and Dowson for 41, The scores were :

, Tho report of the Sunday Schools was received, showing the number of scholars to be 4825, an increase of 108; toaehers 540, an increase of 15. The income was £1196 8s lOd, an increase of £173 13s lOd.
