RIVERTON FATALITIES.

THE INQUEST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Invercargill, last nighc. At fcho'inquest on the bodies of Frederick Parfitt and danet Martin Kelly, drowned in the estuary at Riverton, on Thursday, the jury returned a verdict of accidental drowning, attaching no blame to any person. Nash, a survivor, said that the sail had been lowered, and was lying alongside of the boat. The mast had been unshipped, but was not out of the hole in the thwart, when a puff of wind filled the sail, and the boat canted, the girls being thrown to leeward. All remained in the boat till it turned over, and all had hold of each other in the water. He told Parfitt to let him go, and he did so. Nash then mado for the boat, grasped the keel, turned it over, and got in. The others were then struggling, but he could not do anything to help them. The owner of the boat said that he gave Nash certain instructions when he got the boat. The body of Ethel Ross, the third victim, was recovered this morning.
