A JUDGE’S COMMENTS
YOUTHFUL PRISONERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. •Judge Conolly this morning commented upon the singular youth of prisoners who came before him for sentence. Out of sixteen only two were over thirty years of age. The majority were between seventeen and twenty-nine. The chief cause appeared to be drink and gambling.
